Coming up on their two year anniversary, MOVE fitness club stands out from other Toronto boutique gyms in a big way. This beautiful group and personal training gym is created for women exclusively and they've thought of everything that women want. Smoothie bar, nutritionist services, child minding, high-end products, sauna, plus way more all in a non-judgey and ACTUALLY supportive environment?! YAS please!
Framewrk is one of the more memorable fitness studios we've been to, not only because the unique Essentrics™ class was a breath of fresh air that had us sculpting our lean dancer bods, but the space itself is so calm and serene you'll wanna namaste your day away while admiring the beautiful views of the Toronto skyline amungst the candles and the stars.
The Circus Fix is officially the most unique and non-mainstream fitness class we've been to, to date. Not to be mistaken for aerial yoga, the aerial silks classes will utilise your abs, shoulders, and hands in brand new ways that we're sure are unfamiliar. A wicked way to switch up the conventional fitness routine, these classes will leave you feeling giddy and soar.
We reviewed both Barre3 locations, including their newest to Toronto in Leslieville (!) and both studios will challenge you how you least expect it with repetitive pulsing and small movements that will tone, lengthen and strengthen your beautiful bods.
The class schedule is packed, the prices reasonable, and they have some of our absolute FAV yoga instructors. We're so into this little gem in the east end, and we guarantee you'll leave with an energised glow that's entirely deserving of the name.
One of the draws to this studio is their cutting edge equipment. Their Stages Cycling (SC3) bikes will e-mail immediately after class to show your power, total calories burned, RPM and miles so you can continually challenge yourself and track your progress. Woot.
