Pilates

First invented by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s, Pilates is the art of controlled movement designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and posture and enhance mental awareness. The method has taken many forms since Mr. Pilates’s days with some classes today based on his original mat style and many with machine assistance known as Reformer Pilates which uses sliding bed machines with weight resistance.
If you’ve never tried Pilates before, the benefits are SO worth it, as the styles is wicked for ab strength, it can ease back pain, it’s easy on joints, improves balance and control and it boosts your brainpower. Yah really.
