Undrcard Boxing Studio Review

Undrcard, YYC | 5

Undrcard has freaking nailed it. This studio is doing what people want out of boutique fitness studios now. Crazy hard classes set in an aesthetically pleasing, large, open space, that provide all amenities like great change rooms, lockers, and good quality products for a decent price, that lack a bougie attitude, and have a place for us to chill before or after class equipped with wifi, strong coffee and dairy free/gluten free/all natural delicious snacks. NBD. So, like, they're doing all of this so 5 full pineapples all DAY.

The Sweat Lab Review

TheSweatLab, YYC|4.5

The Sweat Lab (or TSL) is an absolutely awesome hub for lean, mean muscle hotties. Reasonably priced, with a diverse schedule full of killer classes, and a spacious ski-lodge feel, this studio is a must visit for the Calgary fitness fam.

Barre Body Studio Review

Barre Body S, YYC | 5

We've been to Barre Body Studio twice now to try different classes, two locations, and get our butts whipped into shape, literally. These barre classes are low-impact, aerobic and will get your heart rate up by incorporating elements of ballet, free weights and resistance-based equipment. The result is a more toned, leaner physique with a lifted and absolutely fantastic posterier.

TO Yoga Mamas, YYZ | 5

This TOP RATED uber specialised, modern, and super welcoming boutique mama studio specialises in pre and postnatal yoga, Pilates and barre classes, and the prenatal yoga class we took was (thankfully) not a lame watered down yoga class like many prenatal classes can be. Instead it was challenging, educational and the facilities had us coming back for more - also bc the shopping is next level adorbs.

Moksha Yoga, YEG | 4

Moksha Yoga West is one of the OG hot yoga studios in YEG and it's philosophy is completely in-line with other Moksha studios worldwide, creating a space where a diverse group of people can practice together without judgment. You’ll find a v interesting mixture of serious practice and a jovial community, and the sweaty yoga class was challenging, fun, and accessible for anyone. Totes worth a visit for your next downdog.

Yoga Tree, YYZ | 5

With the enormous schedule, membership flexibility to go to any studio, and a massive roster of some of the most influential and popular yoga instructors in the city, this yoga brand is a must visit that we'll visit again and again.

Spokehaus, YYZ | 5

Spokehaus is the Canadian SoulCycle, with some of the most challenging high-intensity full-body workouts we’ve ever taken in TO. If you’re looking for a high calorie burning, incredibly challenging, 45-minute class in an environment that’s gorgeous, energising and the epitome of a boutique fitness studio, then this is for you.

Pure Yoga, At Home | 5

Facilitated through a platform called Namastream (so clever) you can browse hundreds of yoga videos that range from 5-minute arm balance tutorials to 90-minute flow classes. Simply put, we are SO TOTALLY into it.

OctopusGarden, YYZ | 3.5

This fulsome wellness centre is big on their values, as they strive to provide a safe space for inquiry, practice, community and healing and we totally got that sense during our time.

YEG Cycle, YEG | 4.5

This class forced us to dig deep and push through doubt and fatigue and we definitely appreciated the dark nightclub vibes so we could hide the serious struggle that was our lives.
